Care for staple fabric garments (100% viscose)

Staple fabric garments (100% viscose) require delicate care, as this fabric is prone to shrinkage and may lose its shape if not handled properly. Here are the main recommendations:

Washing:
• Hand wash or use a delicate machine cycle (“viscose” or “silk”).
• Water temperature should not exceed 30°C – hot water may cause shrinkage.
• Use mild detergents (without harsh components).
• Do not rub vigorously – viscose is delicate and can be damaged.
• Do not wring – gently press with a towel instead.

Drying:
• Do not spin in the washing machine to avoid creases.
• Dry flat on a towel.
• Avoid sunlight and heaters – viscose dries quickly and can become stiff.
• If hanging, use a wide, soft hanger to prevent creasing.

Ironing:
• Iron inside out while the fabric is still slightly damp.
• Use the lowest temperature setting (“silk” or “viscose”).
• Steaming is preferable to avoid shine from the iron.
• If ironing, place a cotton cloth between the iron and the garment.

Storage:
• Store on wide hangers or fold neatly.
• Do not overdry – viscose prefers slight humidity.
• Use lavender or cedar balls to protect from moths.

How to restore shape after deformation?
• Soak in cool water (up to 30°C) for 10–15 minutes.
• Gently press, lay flat on a towel, and shape by hand.
• Let it dry naturally in a flat position.

By following these rules, your staple fabric garment will remain soft, pleasant to the touch, and keep its shape!
